Working Principle

LM25085AMYX/NOPB works in a continuous conduction mode (CCM). In this mode, current flows through two arms of the power switch, the high side and the low side. When a certain voltage level is reached, the high-side switch is switched on and current flows through the high-side switch. When the current reaches a certain level, the high-side switch is switched off and current stops flowing through the high-side switch. At the same time, the low-side switch is switched on and the current flows through the low-side switch. This process is repeated for every cycle, resulting in a continuous flow of current and a regulated output voltage. As the input voltage changes, the duty cycle is adjusted accordingly to maintain the output voltage.
