Working Principle

The LM2639M/NOPB is a dual, DC/DC buck converter designed to provide up to 2A of continuous current output with a minimum component count and high efficiency. The dual-channel boost capability is optimized to minimize the RMS current ripple while operating in continuous current modes, and the LM2639M/NOPB can also operate in pulse-skip mode at light loads to provide higher efficiency. The device also has integrated synchronous rectification, under-voltage lockout protection, over-current protection, overvoltage protection and thermal protection.
