LM27402MHX/NOPB is a monolithic step-down power supply intensively ranging from 0.6V to 24V with a programming ratio up to 200:1, making it the ideal choice for power-restricted voltage applications. It reduces noise and ripple, thereby optimizing system performance and increasing end-products’ switching efficiency. This DC DC switching controller is the perfect choice for automotive, telecom and networking, tablets, laptops, printers, monitors and more.

As being a large-ratio power supply, LM27402MHX/NOPB efficiently offers a wide range of operating temperature levels, from -40 °C to +125 °C. Its operation supports up to 4-MHz switching frequency and allows for a higher load current of 2.5A. This controller adapts its compensator synchronously to any output voltage range. The input voltage is rated from 4V to 36V maximum.

LM27402MHX/NOPB is also a step-down converter that works by reducing the output voltage and increasing the current of the power supply. This is done by a switch that moves the current in the necessary direction, allowing the voltage to drop. When the input voltage falls below the set output level, the switch is opened, allowing the current to the output to be drawn from the input voltage. When the input voltage increases, the switch is closed once again, ensuring that the output voltage remains constant.

The IC features a wide range of features geared towards minimizing component clutter and size. The IC includes clock synchronization and hysteretic controller, which eliminates the need for external clock component, thereby significantly reducing component count and space required.
