Each time the device switches, a small amount of current is drawn from the input source. This happens continuously until the device reaches its final voltage level, resulting in a stable reference voltage.

The LM336M-2.5/NOPB is available in a through-hole TO-92 style package. It has a maximum total power dissipation of 350mW and can operate over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. This device also offers enhanced circuit protection, including ESD performance, with its integrated ESD protection device.
