Introduction to LM341T-15/NOPB
The LM341T-15/NOPB is a linear, low-dropout three-terminal negative voltage regulator with a dropout voltage of less than 1V and a maximum output current of 500mA. It is used to provide stable and accurate negative power supply outputs to power integrated circuits, such as CMOS, TTL, microprocessors and so on. It also features high capacitive load transient response, thermal protection, and reverse-battery protection, in addition to its excellent line and load regulation.

Application Field
The LM341T-15/NOPB is suitable for many applications, such as portable networking devices, microprocessor and microcontroller based systems, communications equipment, audio equipment, and automotive electronics systems. Working Principle
The LM341T-15/NOPB linear regulator consists of a power-supply input, an output, and a sensing pin. It uses a PMOS transistor, a Zener diode, and a load resistor to regulate the output voltage. The input voltage must be higher than the output voltage by at least the dropout voltage in order for the regulator to operate. The output voltage is regulated by sensing the voltage at the sensing pin and adjusting the gate voltage of the pass transistor accordingly.The PMOS transistor acts as a resistor, limiting the current to the output stage. The Zener diode is used to maintain a constant output voltage and provide a stable reference. The load resistor is used to reduce output voltage and current ripple, as well as to limit the output current.The LM341T-15/NOPB can also operate in dropout mode, where the input voltage is lower than the output voltage. In this mode, the output voltage may decrease slightly as the load increases, but it is still held within the predetermined output voltage range.As the load increases, the current through the output stage ramps up. As the current increases, the voltage at the sensing pin drops, which causes the gate voltage to increase, thus limiting the current to the output stage.
