LM360MX is a linear comparator widely used in digital analog circuits. It is a monolithic integrated circuit designed for digital analog window detection or voltage comparator. The LM360MX realizes the reliable comparison of two voltages, and its output status is dependent on the relationship between two voltages.
Application Field
LM360MX is widely used in digital-to-analog conversion for analog computing systems and control circuits, fully reflecting its strong adaptability. It is often used in voltage comparator circuits and is suitable for low supply voltage. In addition, LM360MX can also be used in the discharge circuit of NiMH battery pack, NiCd battery pack, lithium battery pack and other battery packs, which is reflected in the field of electronic products in the daily life.
Working Principle
When LM360MX is powered up, its circuit is absolutely biased on one side, and its output is in a low level of logic "0". When a voltage is applied to the minus input terminal of LM360MX with reference to the plus input terminal, its circuit is absolutely biased on the other side, and its output is in a high level of logic "1".
The minus pin of LM360MX is grounded in almost all cases, so it basically becomes the ground (GND) of the entire circuit. The plus pin of LM360MX is connected to the reference voltage or signal voltage. When the voltage applied to the plus input pin of LM360MX is greater than the reference voltage, the output of LM360MX will enter a high logic level. At that time, the built-in LED of LM360MX will be bright, showing the optimal side effect.
LM360MX responds quickly and accurately to voltage changes and the transition from low to high and high to low is nearly linear. In addition, the balance of two comparators can be adjusted to obtain the tightest balance through pins. LM360MX is mainly composed of 16 pins, including power supply Vcc/Gnd, input pins /output pins/ adjustable pins, etc.
