The LM3671MFX-1.6/NOPB is a synchronous, monolithic, step-down DC-DC switching regulator. It is designed to provide a cost-efficient way to achieve greater than 90% efficiency with very low external component count and a very small surface mount footprint. The device provides a fixed output voltage of 1.6V without the need for an external sense resistor.
The LM3671MFX-1.6/NOPB circuit requires only N-Channel MOSFET switches, two resistors, two capacitors and an inductor for a complete step-down DC-DC circuit. It also features a shutdown pin for power saving, as well as an enable pin for further efficiency gains through reduced quiescent current.
The LM3671MFX-1.6/NOPB uses a constant-frequency PWM current mode control architecture to provide a fast transient response and excellent line and load regulation at switching frequencies from 200kHz to 1.2MHz.
