The LM43601QPWPTQ1 is a synchronous, wide input voltage Range, step-down DC-DC converter that delivers up to 7A of Output Current. Working Principle

The LM43601QPWPTQ1 is a single chip wide input voltage range DC-DC step-down converter that operates in a switching mode. These include Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) and Current Limit Protection (CLP). OVP will detect if the output voltage exceeds the programmed range and halt the operation of the power MOSFETs. CLP will detect if the output current exceeds the programmed limit and will shut down operation until the fault is cleared.
