The LM53635AQEVM is an evaluation board (EVB) for the LM53635 offline switch-mode power supply (SMPS). It supports up to 40 watts in Offline or AC/DC topologies and is designed to provide high-efficiency power conversion from an AC mains input to an adjustable output up to 28V. The LM53635AQEVM integrates a wide range of features that make it suitable for a variety of applications such as lighting, telecom/networking, home/industrial automation, medical, and consumer. It can also be used as a reference design for other offline flyback or forward SMPS designs.
The LM53635AQEVM is built on Texas Instruments’ latest technology, the LM53635. This IC is a highly integrated SMPS controller that integrates a 700V power MOSFET, isolated current sense amplifier, oscillator, pulse width modulation (PWM) controller, voltage regulation loop (VRL) controller and LED driver. The integrated power MOSFET and current sense amplifier allow for efficient and accurate power conversion.
