LMV301MGX/NOPB is a single low-power CMOS analog switch with a maximum supply voltage of 15V. It operates from -4V to +4V and is designed for a variety of differential, single-ended, and bi-directional analog signal switching applications. The integrated switch has a low on-resistance of 0.2Ω and the low supply current of 0.3mA per channel. The device features an integrated charge pump and ESD protection, making it suitable for high-density designs.

Application Field

The integrated CMOS switch of LMV301MGX/NOPB can be used in the following applications:

Working Principle

The LMV301MGX/NOPB is an integrated CMOS switch with a single low-power switch with an ESD protection as well as a low-resistance channel. The device works when two input signals from two different sources, one from the source node and the other from the drain node, are applied to it. The three control terminals of the switch, termed as PD, CD, and CS are used for controlling the state of the switch. When the control pins are at their logical high state, the switch is enabled and the current from the source node to the drain node is conducted. The reverse current, from the drain to the source, is blocked in this state.

The charge pump and the ESD protection are useful features that enable the LMV301MGX/NOPB to be used in high-density designs such as IA, OP Amp, buffer amplifier, etc. The integrated ESD protection can be used to guard against externally induced ESD pulses (over 10kV) and eliminate signal distortion or latch-up. The charge pump can be used to double the switch’s supply voltage and provide the latest features, such as rapid switching and low on-resistance. The switch also features a low-dropout (LDO) regulator to reduce the power dissipation.
