The LMV844MA/NOPB is an ideal low-noise amplifier which belongs to the categories of Linear, Amplifiers, Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps. The LMV844MA/NOPB amplifier features wide gain control range, wide input/output common-mode range, low-input bias current, and low-noise amplification. The gain control range is adjustable from 0dB to 30dB, with dB/octave tracking for precise gain control. The input/output common-mode range is adjustable ±20V, with low-input bias current of 1nA max and low-noise amplification of ±2.2nV/rtHz.

The amplifier is stable under any gain, frequency and temperature condition, with excellent loop stability. It also has an input protection circuitry that is adjustable to any supply voltage, up to 32V. The amplifier has very low distortion (-90dB at -110dBV output level), low quiescent current, and extremely fast settling time.

In terms of working principle, LMV844MA/NOPB is an instrumentation amplifier which works with an input differential gain stage, an output differential amplifier and a high performance operational amplifier. The input differential gain stage receives a differential input signal and amplifies it fully differential with a gain A before it is sent to the output differential amplifier. The output differential amplifier then amplifies the signal before it is sent to the operational amplifier for further gain control. LMV844MA/NOPB also incorporates an active output stage which provides an increased output range and polarity reversal. This active output stage also provides a low power efficiency and a high dynamic range.

The LMV844MA/NOPB is an ideal low-noise amplifier for applications requiring high-performance, precise gain control and excellent noise performance. It is ideal for data acquisition and communication systems, medical imaging systems and high performance audio systems, among other applications.
