The LP38842MRX-ADJ is an ultra-low quiescent current, adjustable Linear TDFN (Thermally Enhanced Thin-Small-Outline Package) voltage regulator intended for battery-powered and other low-power applications. With its number of features, it is one of the most versatile voltage regulator available. It is a three terminal device with an adjustable output voltage range from 1.6V to 5.0V in 25mV increments. The operating temperature of the CFN package is from -40°C to +85°C while the operating temperature in the TDFN is from -40°C to +125°C. This device also contains a wide range of protection features such as: Thermal overload protection, short-to-ground protection, light load transient protection and short-circuit protection with an input-to-output current limit.

The LP38842MRX-ADJ is a high performance adjustable voltage regulator designed for high accuracy, low quiescent current and low dropout voltage (30mV typ @ 300mA). In addition, it has a low temperature coefficient and low noise. The device offers high output accuracy of +/-1.5% and a low output voltage programming tolerance of 2mV.
