The LT3650EMSE-4.2#PBF PMIC - Battery Charger is an integrated device designed for high-efficiency, accurate and low quiescent current charging for single-cell Li-ion batteries with a temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. This IC is highly efficient, fully integrated and devices are optimized for space sensitive application where the user need higher current capacity and low operational temperature range. This device has 8 separate channels with dedicated charge phase and connectivity to multiple devices, each channel having its own dedicated regulation and error circuit.

This device is designed for an extensive range of Li-ion/Li-polymer battery packs, with wide range of capacity and cell count. Its various features include 4.2V charge voltage, 1.5A terminal current, adjustable charge cycle duration, and under-voltage and over-voltage protection. It also features a unique charge mode known as “top-off”, which automates the charging process and maintains the voltage level of the battery. It also features an LED which indicates when the battery is at the optimal charge level.

The LT3650EMSE-4.2#PBF PMIC - Battery Charger offers several advantages in mobile applications.
