This converter is based on a DC/DC converter principle which converts isolated output voltage using only a single switch, providing a high efficiency and reliable operation.</p><p>The LTM4631IY have an integrated dual-switch controller and power MOSFETs which allow them to operate with a wide range of input voltage. The input voltage range is from 3V to 28Vdc, allowing the LTM4631IY to be used in industrial, automotive, and telecom applications.</p><p>The LTM4631IY have a wide variety of output power up to 1.3W with a single output and up to 3.0W with a dual output. They can also achieve a high efficiency of 95%, allowing them to minimize energy losses during the power transfer. They also have a low quiescent current of only 2mA, which further increases the overall efficiency of the device.</p><p>The LTM4631IY also feature a two-phase buck-boost method where the two power MOSFETs are connected in series and operate in opposite directions, enabling high efficiency over a wide range of output currents and input voltages.
