MAP4KE82A is an advanced unidirectional and bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode that provide protection for semiconductor circuit components such as sensitive gates and opto-couplers from electrical overstress caused due to voltage spikes from switching transistors, inductive loads and other sources.

In the automotive industry, MAP4KE82A TVS diodes are widely used in the application like - automotive lighting, power converters, engines, and infotainment systems.Besides, it is also ideal for driver-assist safety systems, such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning systems (LDWS), automated emergency braking systems (AEB) and forward collision warning systems (FCWS).
