The MAX11040DB+ is an evaluation board that contains an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The chip on the board is a dual, high-speed, simultaneous sampling 12-bit ADC which samples both channels at 25 MSPS. This purpose of this evaluation board is to provide a platform demonstrating the features and benefits of the MAX11040 16-bit, dual, simultaneous sampling ADC.
The board contains two MAX11040 DB+ chips which each contain a 12-bit ADC and the necessary features such as high-speed digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters, an on-chip tracking ADC, a low power temperature sensor, and a programmable frequency synthesizer.
