The MAX11198EVKIT# is a versatile evaluation system for investigating the performance of Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs). Its value is derived by in the range of possible measurements that it can make, and in the reduced time to obtain conclusive results and optimize machine performance.This evaluation kit supports 14-bit, 80 MSPS analog-to-digital conversion. It has a high resolution of 80 MHz, a noise of 54 dBFS, and is designed for operation at a wide range of ambient temperatures while maintaining a consistency in the data conversion ratio.To use the evaluation kit the user first needs to select a channel that will be used to perform the analogue to digital conversion then connect the chosen channel to an oscilloscope. Once connected the user needs to adjust the gain, offset and other parameters according to the values in the MAX11198EVKIT# user manual.When all the settings are ready, the user should now select the start trigger and optional logic trigger setting from the menu and set the specified run length. Once that is done the user can just hit the run button and a text message will appear on the screen showing the status of the conversion process.The next step is to compare the results of the reading taken with the MAX11198EVKIT# versus the ones taken from the oscilloscope.
