MAX13221ECTE+ is an integrated, 1-Mb/s, half-duplex transceiver that operates from a single 2.7-V to 5.5-V supply. This device, along with resistors, capacitors, and external LEDs, forms a complete full-duplex interface. The receiver section of the MAX13221ECTE+ includes two low-supply-current operational amplifiers (op-amp) and two high-impedance, low-emission open-drain outputs. The single-ended transceivers feature an open-drain output combined with a 24-mA pre-driver that has the capability to drive two switched-capacitor filter outputs.
