Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits are tools used by engineers and technicians to prototype new product ideas or to evaluate and debug existing ones. Especially, the MAX13253EVKIT is a versatile and complete evaluation board for the MAX13253 transceiver which enables designers to easily and quickly evaluate the MAX13253 performance.

The MAX13253EVKIT board supports numerous features that help simplify board configurations, such as selectable power supplies, configurable power sequencers, power control, reset control, reference voltage testing and application note support. Additionally, the board includes 16 DIP switches, four LEDs and a user-programmable Peripheral Component Interconnect (PIC).

The MAX13253EVKIT also supports various user I/O and also one of the key features of the MAX13253: power supply sequences. The MAX13253 EVKIT can be used for multiple applications such as radio frequency (RF) receivers, digital signal processing (DSP) systems and wireless communication systems. The board also provides multiple sets of on-board tracking detector circuitry for testing the power performance of the MAX13253.

The MAX13253EVKITs working principle is based on the idea that a system designer can use pre-defined power sequences to configure a device.
