The MAX13412EESA+ uses a CMOS process for the high speed digital interface. The device is equipped with an external-current-sense amplifier, interlock protection and dynamic switching capabilities that enable it to accurately detect and read digital input signals. The device features a low voltage operation, high drive strength, dynamic range of output and a wide frequency range. It is capable of driving large loads in the range of 1mA to 4mA with very low output voltage levels. The device is also programmable with options to enable partial-select and disable functions.The device has an input architecture that converts the digital input signals into output voltage levels ranging from 0 to 5V. The internal logic used in the MAX13412EESA+ helps it to monitor the input signal and output the appropriate voltage levels. The device is capable of detecting input signals in the frequency range of 0.5Hz to 10kHz with rise/fall times of 10ns to 100ns.
