The MAX14593EEWV+T is an advanced charging manager designed specifically to charge single-cell Li-ion/Li-polymer batteries used in wearable and portable electronic devices. The device is offered in a 2.5mm x 3.0mm wafer-level chip-scale package and includes four key power regulated charging and discharging functions that are required for a safe, featured and high-efficiency Li-ion/Li-polymer based solution. The four key functions are charger, discharger, Watch Dog Timer (WDT) and a low-battery detector (LBD).

In terms of application field, the MAX14593EEWV+T is specifically designed for wearable and portable electronic devices. The device operates on a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 6.5V and can charge single-cell 2.5V to 4.1V Li-ion/Li-polymer batteries up to a maximum charge current of 1A.
