It also features an integrated watchdog timer to build fault-tolerant control systems, and a slew-rate control pin to reduce EMI in critical applications. The high-side switch is rated for drain-to-source voltages up to 50V and drain-to-ground voltages of up to 80V, while the low-side switch has drain-to-source voltages up to 50V and drain-to-ground voltages of up to 80V.The MAX14821EVKIT offers an intuitive user interface that makes it easy to configure and test the MAX14821 isolated switches. The included GUI allows users to easily set up, monitor, and control the isolated dual-channel switches. The GUI also includes support for real-time monitoring and tuning of the slew-rate control and watchdog timer settings. The included encryption features allow the user to program the device without having to physically access it, and all settings are retained when the board is powered down.The MAX14821EVKIT also includes a USB-serial interface with on-board FTDI FT232R for powering, serial downloads, and GUI control.
