<p>The MAX14890EVKIT# (MAX14890 Evaluation Kit) is an evaluation and demonstration board from Maxim Integrated Products. The controller features a range of digital peripherals, including I2C and SPI interfaces, six 10-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with programmable reference levels, up to 24 digital I/O pins, an 8-channel timer with up to 4 PWM outputs, and an integrated SPI slave.</p><p>The on-board MAX14890 EVK controller provides the necessary control to control the motor by regulating the current, voltage, and/or speed. The EVK utilizes an algorithm, such as a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative), or other heuristics, to regulate the motor. The firmware menu allows the user to configure the necessary parameters to achieve the desired motor behavior.</p><p>The EVK includes the necessary hardware and software to debug the behavior of the motor. The board includes an on-board logic analyzer, a scope trigger, and test points, and supports breakpoints, trace logging, and real-time step commands. Additionally, the board includes an I2C interface and a JTAG connector to interface with external debuggers.</p><p>The MAX14890EVKIT# evaluation and demonstration board is a versatile development platform for motor control applications.
