The MAX15032EVKIT+ is a high-performance evaluation board (EV) for the MAX15032, an 80V/2A factory-switch-mode-power-supply (FMPS) controller. It is designed to ease the feasibility while allowing rapid prototyping of various types of power supplies.

The MAX15032EVKIT+ board simplifies the design of efficient and reliable power systems. It offers the various power supply output possibilities, including multiple output designs, from single-outputs up to four-outputs, and an adjustable step-down output voltage ranging from 4.75V to 80V.
Evaluation board of the MAX15032EVKIT+ provides short circuit, over voltage, and over-temperature protection for AC/DC and DC/DC switch-mode power supplies. The evaluation board features an onboard adjustable feedback voltage and over-temperature shutdown. It also includes a 3A 48V pluggable transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode for AC/DC applications.
Onboard test points are provided for measuring the performance of various AC/DC and DC/DC power supply designs and for determining the maximum current drawn from a given input voltage. The board also includes two LED indicators to provide a visual indication of output power status.
The MAX15032EVKIT+ board supports a wide variety of AC/DC and DC/DC power supply designs from 12V to 80V with total output power up to 120W (65W for single-output designs).
