The MAX1678EUA is a dual synchronous step-down DC-DC switching regulator optimized and calibrated to deliver up to 3A of continuous load current from an input of 4.5V to 28V. It features an integrated internal transistor power switch, controllers and housekeeping functions within a 6-pin SOT23 or 10-pin SO package. This device is designed to deliver the highest efficiency and power density available. The working principle of MAX1678EUA can be divided into four stages: precharge, enable, start-up, and normal operation.
