It integrates a high-efficiency synchronous buck controller, pre-programmed with power settings, and an integrated high current FET driver. The MAX16932EVKIT# evaluation board consists of a 3-phase buck controller IC and an integrated high-efficiency FET driver IC. The buck controller IC features a pre-programmed power setting and has an operating frequency range up to 600 kHz. The integrated FET driver IC features a synchronous rectifier output stage, providing up to 10 kVp-p isolation. The board is designed to be powered from +6V and provides output voltages between 0.8V up to 5.5V.

The MAX16932EVKIT# supports a wide range of applications within AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS, including AC/DC linear adapters, 12V DC power supplies, and 5V no-load adapters. The evaluation board also supports active-clamp output voltage configurations, enabling a wide input range (14V to 66V).
