The MAX17062EVKIT is a rugged evaluation kit with valuable dc/dc and ac/dc off-line switching power supply (SMPS) features. This versatile kit comes with a wide variety of components to help simplify application development and testing. The MAX17062EVKIT is specifically designed for dc/dc and ac/dc off-line SMPS applications including power supplies, LED lighting, and motor drives. It supports up to 200V operation. The evaluation board comes with a MAX17062 dc-dc controller IC, inductors, capacitors, PWM dimmers, voltage suppliers, voltage dividers, metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs), flyback and buck topologies, and a large number of current transfer switches.
The MAX17062 dc/dc and ac/dc off-line SMPS IC is capable of operating at high frequencies and can support a wide range of input and output voltages. The IC can support up to 1 MHz switching frequency, up to 28V input voltage, and up to 200V maximum output voltage. It also features a high efficiency synchronous rectification with low input current distortion at high frequencies and high efficiency low-voltage start-up. The IC provides current, frequency, and temperature protection, and thermal shutdown. The evaluation board includes a wide variety of controllers and other components that can be used to design a wide range of dc/dc and ac/dc off-line SMPS applications.
The MAX17062 ac/dc and dc/dc off-line SMPS evaluation kit includes all the components and control ICs necessary to evaluate and configure the MAX17062 controllers. It includes a MAX17062 dc-dc controller IC, N- and P-channel MOSFETs, current sense resistors, voltage dividers, inductors, capacitors, PWM dimmers, voltage suppliers, flyback and buck topologies, metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs), and a large number of current transfer switches. The evaluation board also includes a USB compatible sticker for ease of operation.
The MAX17062 Evaluation Kit has been designed to provide users with a complete and comprehensive platform to evaluate and test their dc/dc and ac/dc off-line SMPS designs.
