The MAX17083EVKIT+ is a low-power, off-line ac/dc power supply evaluation board with a wide range of supported power supply applications. This evaluation board was designed to demonstrate the operation of a low-power off-line SMPS (switched mode power supply) with the MAX17083 IC, which provides efficiency and flexibility for various applications. The MAX17083 EVKIT+ is an ideal platform for prototyping and testing a range of off-line power supply applications, from managing low power consumption of up to 300 mW to providing maximum efficiency with higher power solutions.

The main components of the MAX17083EVKIT+ are the MAX17083 IC, control circuit, buck-boost switching controller, power MOSFET, and a switching transformer. The MAX17083 is a low-power, off-line ac/dc SMPS controller IC with multiple operating modes such as buck, boost/flyback, reverse double-ended (RDE), and buck-boost.
