The MAX17094EVKIT+ is a DC/DC and AC/DC off-line SMPS evaluation board designed by Maxim Integrated. The board brings the efficiency, control, flexible, high-density features, and wide-temperature performance of the MAX17094 ultra-low-dropout (ULDO) regulator to a wide range of applications.

The ultra-low dropout (ULDO) regulator is a type of linear regulator which works by regulating the voltage supplied to a load when there is a current draw on the system. This type of voltage regulator is able to function under a low voltage differential, such as a few millivolts. This makes it ideal for applications in which power supply ripple must be minimized.

The MAX17094EVKIT+ provides several features which make it a suitable choice for applications requiring control, efficiency, and cost savings. It features an adjustable output voltage range from 4.5V to 24V, a maximum output current of 17A, a low input voltage range from 5.2V to 30V, and a power range of up to 72W.
