Finally, an RJ-45 connector enables remote programming of the parameters over the Ethernet.
The highly efficient COT topology of this board operates in fixed-frequency current-mode to control the output voltage. It also provides voltage stability over a wide dynamic load range and excellent line and load regulation. The on-board logic includes the majority of features supported by the MAX17102/MAX17103 devices, such as soft-start, over-temperature protection, and various fault-handling modes. The MAX17102EVKIT+ is designed to be powered from a TJPES50-2450ACDC adapter that delivers a 24 Vdc input voltage.
The power-good comparator monitors the main output voltage and indicates when the output is within 10% of the target value. The MAX17102EVKIT+ is capable of providing at least 5A(RMS) of load current with a maximum duty cycle of 70%. This device is ideally suited for various applications such as industrial and automotive.
