The MAX1710EEG application field and working principle is a special purpose voltage regulator which has been designed to meet the needs of special application circuits. The MAX1710EEG is a component of the patented Multi-Path Power Management System (MPPMS), a feature which allows the designer to reduce the board size and component count. It is also highly customizable, allowing for the optimization of board space, component cost, and component count reduction.
The typical operating voltage of the MAX1710EEG is between 8V and 40V; however, it can be adjusted depending on the application. It is designed to provide an output current of up to 500mA and has a minimum of 120mV drop from input to output.
