Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits are used to test and evaluate the performance of integrated circuits and other components within a circuit. Such boards come with an array of pins and other terminals that aid the user with their experiments. The MAX17205GEVKIT# is no exception. This evaluation and demonstration kit is used to test the MAX1720, a core-independent integrated power supply chip for portable applications.

The raw DC power it receives from 1.7V to 8V is regulated to produce a 3.3V output, with a typical efficiency of over 90%.
