The MAX17572EVKITB# is an evaluation platform for the MAX17572 high voltage, highly-efficient, synchronous buck controllers. These buck controllers can also be used for off-line power designs such as DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS. This evaluation kit can be used to design and quickly evaluate high voltage power designs based on the MAX17572 controllers.

The MAX17572EVKITB# is suitable for a variety of applications, such as industrial, automotive, medical, and computer peripherals. It is also applicable for off-line converter designs that require high efficiency, upto 95%, with step-down offset voltage ranging from two-phase (2.5V to 40V or 4V – 60V) to single phase (2.5V to 59V or 4V to 80V). With its wide operating frequency range (200kHz to 500kHz), this kit is capable of meeting the high switching frequency requirements of high current supplies.

The MAX17572EVKITB# comes with a wide variety of features, such as over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, cycle-by-cycle current limit and hiccup mode current limit.
