MAX17606 SFBEV kit is a versatile evaluation board used in DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. It allows users to configure and evaluate high-customizing DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) designs, provides 100% power and simple testing solutions (regardless of power supply or load requirements). The MAX17606SFBEV kit is primarily used for testing the performance of DC/DC & AC/DC (off-line) power supplies, as well as evaluating the power consumption, power efficiency, stability, and precision of a variety of switching power supplies.

The MAX17606SFBEV includes the SFBEV driver, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) 5V DC/DC converter, a low-ESR input capacitor, and a power-efficiency diode bridge.

The SFBEV driver provides three different voltage ranges for controlling the switching frequency of the power supply. The output voltage range can be adjusted to the desired value with a preset of the output voltage. The driver is optimized for low noise operation. It features adjustable soft-start and soft-stop functions, as well as overvoltage protection and short-circuit protection.
