Working Principle of MAX1873TEEE+
The MAX1873TEEE+ is a charge-only PMIC for one Li+ cell, or up to four Li+ cells connected in series or parallel. Its main components are a precision voltage regulator, a low dropout-based DC-DC converter and a battery charging controller. It provides flexible inputs, comprehensive safety features and programmable control features. It can be further customized with an external control pin\'s voltage. It is able to operate down to 2.6V and supply up to 500mA to the Li+ cell(s). It comes with selectable charge terminations and overcharge, overcurrent, and over-temperature protection.
