MAX1985ETP+

MAX1985ETP+ is the latest product from Maxim Integrated and is an integrated power management IC, PrimeLED driver with power factor correction (PFC) and high-efficiency LED dimming. The device, designed to meet the requirements of Class 2 high-voltage LED lighting solutions, brings together three 1.5-A low-dropout (LDO) regulators, multiple boost converters and two gate drivers in a 8x9mm package, with a step-down LED driver specifically designed for high-power LED drivers.

The device, consolidating up to five supply rails, supports high-voltage LED installations up to 360 V. Further, it offers input power factor correction (PFC) capability, which helps maintaining power factor greater than 0.9 across a wide range of input mains.
