The main features of the MAX5901ABEUT+T are low quiescent current consumption, high accuracy current limit, and programmable current limit. It has an adjustable current limit of 0.2A to 3A. The quiescent current consumption is only 1.7mA at the typical voltage of 2.7V. The device has a built-in voltage regulator that provides a 3V supply for the reporting circuits. Working Principle: The MAX5901ABEUT+T operates by monitoring the current flowing through the load, and limiting the current within a set range.
