The MAX8804VETA+T is an advanced power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed to power up and charge two Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries. The MAX8804VETA+T provides a host of power management features, including a system power-on reset (POR) signal, voltage and current monitoring along with system power interface. It also features protection against overvoltage (OV), overcurrent (OC) and short-circuit (SC) conditions. In addition, the MAX8804VETA+T features an adaptive thermal protection system that adjusts the output voltage of the charge pump to reduce temperature.
