The MAX889RESA+ is a monolithic, step-down, dc-dc switching regulator that can deliver up to 7A of continuous output current to a wide variety of applications. It is a highly efficient, low-power solution that converts a 5V input voltage range to a regulated 3.3V, 3.1V, 2.4V, 1.8V, or 1.5V output. The MAX889RESA+ combines a synchronous rectified buck controller, high voltage NMOS and PMOS power switches, a power-good, and an adjustable soft-start in a single package.
