This IC enables developers to quickly create a working prototype of a low-power SMPS design. The integrated converter has features such as advanced pre-bias start-up, synchronization over a wide range of frequencies including 50kHz to 2MHz, current-mode control, on/off/standby control and chopper-mode operation.The working principle behind the MAXM17761EVKIT# is simple. The integrated circuit combines a voltage mode feedback loop with an on-chip inductor, allowing it to detect the AC voltage and control the SMPS power output accordingly.
