MC33880DWBR2 is a full bridge switching device from ON Semiconductor designed for high power DC motor control and energy saving systems. The MC33880DWBR2 is a shielded package binary power distribution switch or load driver with high current and low RDS(on) and an integrated protection against transient overvoltage and back emf protection.

The application field of the MC33880DWBR2 includes BLDC and stepper motor controllers, robotic motor controllers, renewable energy systems, high power battery chargers, industrial AC induction motor drives, DC motor drives, and more.

The device combines a high-side and a low-side N-MOSFET, both rated at 33A at 90V and a pre-driver with a logic level MOSFET driver and back EMF protection in a single package. The pre-driver can be triggered by an external PWM signal for full speed, forward or reverse control, or be driven by an MCU directly for lower speed, torque regulation, current control, and further protection functions.
