This increases the output current, which in turn brings up the output voltage.

By repeating this cycle, the output voltage is converted from the input voltage and is close to the reference voltage Vref. The output voltage is also held at this value since the device is connected in series in the power supply circuit.

Other features of the MC79M05CDTRK regulator include a low dropout voltage (maximum 2V), a high output current (more than 1A each regulator), low temperature drift and a fast transient response time.
