MCP1642DT-18I/MS is a high-efficiency and high-precision DC-DC switching regulator from Microchip from PMIC – Voltage Regulators – DC DC Switching Regulators category. The MCP1642DT-18I/MS has an onboard 140 kHz DC/DC buck regulator. The device’s switching frequency is adjustable from 120 kHz to 560 kHz by changing an input capacitor value. The output voltage can be programmed to as low as 7V, and output current can be programmed up to 3.2A, with power up to 12W. This integrated switch regulator comes in a 5x6mm QFN package and includes an internal full bridge synchronous rectifier, POTSINL which ensures efficient operation.
