PMIC, or Power Management Integrated Circuit, is an electronic system which provides and manages power on a circuit set, often made for specific uses and models of electronic equipment. Battery chargers are a type of PMIC, and the MCP73833T-B6I/MF is a type of linear Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery charger, which is a more precise form of charging and discharging lithium-ion batteries than typical PMICs.
