MCP73862-I/ML is a highly-integrated, battery-charge controller designed to charge cylindrical Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) and Lithium-Polymer (Li-Polymer) batteries from a constant-current/constant-voltage power source. The device is designed to provide a robust, efficient, and cost-effective solution for a wide range of single-cell Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery-powered applications, including those used for mobile phones, digital still cameras, portable disk drivers, CD-ROM drives, and video & audio products.
