The controller then monitors the voltage until it falls back to the below the OV threshold.

The MIC2586-2BM Hot Swap Controller also features a fast recovery time upon output voltage transients. When the output voltage exceeds the OV levels, the controller quickly disables the power supply in order to protect the load.
