The MIC708RMY-TR is a type of PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) also known as supervisors. Its main purpose is to provide supervision to power supplies created by a power management system. This supervisor is a Reset/Power-On Reset (POR) circuit specifically tailored for the industrial and automotive markets. It has several wonderful features, which make it ideal for these markets.

The MIC708RMY-TR works by detecting power faults within a power supply system and producing an alarm signal. The alarm signal is then used to detect faults in the system and initiate corrective actions such as cutting off power to the system or resetting the system. This supervisor also monitors other signals in the system. The supervisor determines the state of the power system based on the voltage levels of these signals.
