MSMBJ45A Application Field and Working Principle

MSMBJ45A is a type of TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) diode. It is a type of solid-state voltage-clamping device with a fast response to transient overvoltage events. It can withstand up to 45V of maximum reverse voltage, has a fast response time of less than 5nS, and has a low clamping voltage of less than 24V. It also features a small RMS power rating (0.5W) and is RoHS compliant.
