Introduction to MURT10040R

MURT10040R is a technology developed by Rectron & associates Of Taiwan. It is a rectifier array technology and one of the oldest in the world. Working Principle

The MURT10040R rectifier array technology is based on a Dual-Die design that allows for high di/dt values and low reverse-leakage current. The array consists of two identical components that are connected back-to-back, with one of the components facing the input side and the other facing the output side. The two components are each diodes that act as \'current-balancers\'.

The rectifier array works by passing the alternating current through the two components consecutively. The current flowing through the first component acts as a current-balancer by actively regulating the current passing through the second component. The result is the output of pure DC power, where the ripple is significantly reduced. In addition, the unique design of the array reduces forward-voltage and offers improved current-balancing capability.
