NB6L16DTR2 is a logic-level translator, which can widen the range of application through controlling the external positive and negative power supply. NB6L16DTR2 has widely application field. First of all, it can be used as an intermediate level between logic circuits of one and two power supplies. The translator can control two low voltage and two high voltage supplies, and also increase the upper voltage limit of the low voltage circuit. Additionally it can link two voltages, which are not related to each other, to complete the communication. Furthermore, as a level translation device, it can bridge the internal slow drive circuit and the external fast driving circuit, and can also be used to drive the microcontroller systems.Working Principle
The NB6L16DTR2 integrated circuit consists of two 16-bit logic translators, DTR1 and DTR2, which can actively convert the low logic signal to the signal suitable for the high logic level device. The upper input signal of DTR1 will be translated to the low output signal, while the upper signal of DTR2 will be translated to the high output signal.In addition, the direction control allowd each translator’s direction to be independently adjusted so that both the low and high voltages can be translated, even in the same direction.
